The day before, the forecast had called for winds at c. 16 km/h. However the day of the survey, the winds were much stronger. We would have called off the survey because of the high winds, except that we could not perform the survey any other day in February as we were scheduled to do another survey at another location on 29 February. We had been away for 10 days prior to this, so could not schedule it sooner. The survey actually finished at 6:15 PM, though I\'m not given a choice beyond 6 PM on the online form.
